While initially sounding sinister, it takes on a light-hearted respite during the oasis that is the relative major. Not to be outdone, the diabolical nature returns with a vengeance to send this piece to its furious conclusion. The piece is dedicated to Mary Kay Godfrey, who provided the materials necessary to complete this composition.
