Inspired by the harbor bridge in Duluth Minnesota, the western most tip of Lake Superior, this fine new work is a delightfully realized musical portrait. The structure of the composition is "bridge-like", in that the opening section and similar closing section are the foundations on either end of the music. What comes in between is an ever-surprising musical journey that draws on a variety of inluences to create a unique, playable, and very exciting musical portrait.
